Born and Raised on Maui
Born and raised on Maui, I carry the island’s aloha spirit with me in everything I do. Growing up surrounded by its natural beauty taught me to be respectful, considerate, and deeply connected to the people and stories around me. This foundation shapes how I approach my work—with kindness, authenticity, and a genuine desire to honor each couple’s unique journey.

Hey guys! I’m Daniel, the filmmaker behind DB Film House. What I love most about shooting weddings is getting to tell your unique love story in a way that feels real and unforgettable. I’m not just here to capture pretty shots—I’m here to capture the emotions, the laughter, the little moments that make your day truly yours.
Weddings have this amazing energy that’s hard to put into words. Being able to witness those genuine connections and turn them into a cinematic film that you’ll cherish forever is why I do what I do. My goal is to create something timeless that takes you right back to those feelings every time you watch it.
Daniel Borreta is the creative visionary and founder behind DB Film House, bringing together a rare combination of technical expertise, artistic sensibility, and genuine passion for human connection. As both the Creative Director and lead filmmaker, Daniel has dedicated his career to mastering the delicate art of transforming fleeting moments into timeless cinematic experiences.

DB Film House began with a singular vision: to preserve the beauty of real moments through cinematic storytelling that feels both elevated and deeply personal. Founded by Daniel Borreta, our studio has grown from intimate beginnings in Hawai‘i to serving couples across the country and beyond — always with a focus on timeless imagery, intentional detail, and an experience rooted in trust, artistry, and human connection.

Wedding Experience
During your wedding before and after, we will be capturing the emotional moments, the candid adventures, and details you may not have had time to absorb. So you to watch your film and remember every detail of your day.
Re-living Your Story
We understand that waiting for your wedding film can be hard. Our top priority is delivering films of the highest caliber of quality, and so you can expect to recieve your film within 12-16 weeks delivered digitally.
